FUKPIG Studio update #1

Just a quick update for those of you interested in the band I currently sing for, FUKPIG.

All the vocals are nearly done. Got about five or six tracks to sing over, then it's a case of getting whatever guest vocalists we fancy to do their parts and we're pretty much completed on that side of things, it'll just be a case of mixing and mastering to make sure all the fucking horror is captured to the fullest extent.

Musically, haven't changed that much, riffing is still early 90s Earache style, drumming this time round is a lot faster and a bit more varied. Vocals I've pushed as hard as I can, and lyrically I've moved away from the standard bombs / war fodder of the first one, touching on everything from paranoid conspiracy theories to organised religion to the movie Martyrs. Every song so far sounds a lot more interesting all round and I can't fucking wait for it to be released.

Song titles are pretty much in the bag, but we won't let you know them for a while yet, unless you've picked one of the few clues scattered about on the internet.

The May 2nd gig at Leeds Deathfest will feature a new band, and will have some new songs in the set to give a sneak peek of the new stuff. I hope at the very least for a couple of new tracks to be on myspace in time for the gig.

In the meantime keep checking the myspace for more updates, don't believe what you see, and remember that belief is the death of intelligence.
